One of the design trade-offs in producing this low-cost, high quality adapter is that the M2 image is projected upside-down on your field monitors and on tape during production. Fortunately, there are several simple ways to address this:

Upside-Down Image in Post- Production

In post production, nothing more is required beyond your current non-linear editor (NLE). All modern NLEs support rotating the footage 180 degrees. We suggest you perform this rotation as soon as you import the footage into your editor.

The M2 requires your DV or HD camera lens diamater be 72mm.

If your lens is a different diameter, you can use step-up or step-down rings to get to 72mm (some sizes may require more than one step-up or step-down ring - that is fine).
