The Rod support system and rods are included as part of the M2 Bundles

 

The M2 is supported by industry standard 15mm rods. If you already own a rod support system, you may be able to use your existing rods. However, the Redrock rod support system provides the adjustments that simplify setup of the M2 to your camera.

We offer a high quality, precision-machined rod support system for the M2 that includes base plate, adjutable rod mount plate, one pair of 18" 15mm hollow machined rods, adjustment knobs, and clamp.

This rod support system mount are industry standard measurements (15mm rods, 60mm center-to-center) and can be used in conjunction with the M2 for add-ons such as matte box, follow focus, and other attachments that require rod support mounts.

The Shim Kit allows cameras of varying heights to be correctly fitted to the rod support system so the camera and the M2 adapter are in proper alignment.

The Rod Support Shim Kit is enables you to adjust the rod support system for cameras that require a height adjustment. Shims can be used beneath the adapter, rod support bracket, or camera.

The shim kit inclues quantity 2 each high grade lightweight machined aluminum of the follow shim heights:

  • 1/4" shim
  • 1/8" shim
  • 1/16" shim
